I just found out that Dr Stuart Segal, a close colleague and local family physician has been blogging too. He blogs about issues related to health that come up in his day to day practice. Being a family physician he certainly sees a broader range of health issues in his practice than I do and frequently writes commentary on frontline issues.
He brings a unique style of presenting medical, health issues to the common man on a solid understanding of the fundamentals that are often lost on blogs that get bogged down in confusing medical jargon.
His most recent article is on inflammation, a very basic concept of medicine that is often forgotten that was originally described by Celsus in 30AD (yes that is 30AD). A poor understanding of which inevitably leads to a misunderstanding of many medical conditions.
Read his article for more information.
I really enjoyed his writings and think you will to.
