Lyme disease- a good review article

Lyme disease continues to have a deplorable reputation. Taking blame for almost every combination of chronic nonspecific symptoms. Most of these have already been refuted but as always the myths continue to circulate on the Internet.
John Halperin, MD wrote an excellent commentary titled “Lyme disease: What is it and what’s the fuss?” in a recent issue of Infectious disease special edition. In the article he summarizes many of the facts and myths surrounding lyme disease. The article was well written concise and went into enough detail to educate this often misunderstood disease. This deserves a read by anyone who wants to understand what Lyme disease is and what misperceptions regarding it exist today.
